It may be but not for the reasons you might imagine...this industry has done more than most to drive ‘ whitening’ as a fashionable concept in the Chinese and Indian markets in the face of white Anglo-American culture being considered aspirational by some portion of these communities. So it could actually be a huge hit to the bottom line...despite actually being (finally) a culturally responsible thing to do.
